Content and Structure of the Course

      This is a course of English for the students of computer systems, nets, sowtware engineering as well as for adult professionals in the information and communication technologies and related fields. The curriculum covers a broad range of hardware, software and Internet vocabulary helping learners to combine the knowledge of English with ICT competency. 
      The course is an integral part of the first 3 years of study in bachelor's degree curricular for ICT students.  It spans 6 semesters and consists of 6 modules respectively. At the end of the 1st and the 2nd years students pass their final projects and get a credit; at the end of the course students take an exam.  
      The total academic load is 288 academic hours (2 hours of class work a week), with 78 hours devoted to the individual students' work.
